The Opportunity
We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin.As Clearpay’s Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll
- Manage all payable incoming mail delivered via email and mail; Respond to supplier and employee inquiries- Process supplier invoices for all entities, by obtaining appropriate documentation and approval- Supplier reconciliation accounts understanding differences and monitor account balances, track expenses, prepare analyses of accounts and related financial activity to produce monthly financial reports- Propose and work along with other team members for supplier accruals and prepayments- Ensure the Vendor Master Data is accurate. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices- Manage vendor profiles and set up new suppliers in the accounting system- Assist the broader finance team in creating efficiencies and contribute to further streamlining a Global Accounts Payable Function- Train and work closely with PO Champions to ensure POs are processed correctly and on newly implemented procurement policy- Assist in developing appropriate policies and controls for the entire payables process- Process and review employee expense reimbursements in accordance with reimbursement policy

- Demonstrated experience within an Accounts Payable function- Excellent written and verbal communication- Extensive experience working in a startup environment, preferably in the finance or technology sectors- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, with people at all levels and from different departments- Thrive under pressure and comfortable in an ever-changing environment- Openness and ability to get your hands dirty and be in the detail but also think of the bigger picture impacts- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERPs, Salesforce a plus
